Oak Ride Farm Kennels and Cattery have been running successfully for the past 35 years. It is a family run business, supported by a dedicated team, who all just love the animals in their care.
The canine hydrotherapy facility was launched in 2016, and is now a successful part of the overall business, with a mix of fitness/sporting, rehabilitation and post operative clients.
In 2018 we added a professional experienced dog grooming facility, a canine massage clinic and became the venue for a well established dog agility club.
Many of our boarding customers have been with us from the beginning, although now with a different generation of dogs and cats. Our customers although mainly local, come from all over the home counties with quite a lot coming out of London.
Oak Ride Farm kennels and cattery benefits from being set in the middle of the Surrey countryside. It is easily accessible from London and sits just south of the M25 between Heathrow and Gatwick and is about an hour from the ferry at Portsmouth.
The first time you bring your dog and or cat to us for boarding, you will be asked to provide a full profile of your pet and your contact details. All cats and dogs will need to be vaccinated, and have their certificates with them each time they visit. On their first visit they need to be with us between 9am and 12noon, this allows them necessary settling time.
The kennels hold a maximum of 50 dogs and the cattery a maximum of 80. All areas are covered by CCTV.

Since then Carolyn has developed the business significantly, enhancing the boarding facilities and adding additional services such as the hydrotherapy and grooming. She has a solid experienced background in equine sports and management. The family have always had boxer dogs, and the resident boxer is Henry, who is “Lord of the Manor” despite his declining years.
