Our kennels hold up to 35 dogs and our cattery accommodates up to 60 cats, with all areas covered by CCTV for security and peace of mind. When boarding with us, we take time to get to know every pet, ensuring they are fully vaccinated, up to date with flea and worming treatments, and have a smooth, stress-free settling-in process. Many of our customers have been with us for generations of pets, and we look forward to welcoming you and your four-legged family members.

Our Services

Over the years, we’ve grown to offer much more than just boarding. Our facilities now include a canine hydrotherapy centre, launched in 2016, which supports dogs with fitness, rehabilitation, and post-operative recovery needs. We’ve also added professional dog grooming, and a large enclosed paddock for walking your dogs without meeting other walkers – making Oak Ride Farm a hub for happy, healthy pets.

DOG KENNELS

We have 10 kennels which are all in one block with outside runs attached. The kennels are heated with additional infra red heating for the winter. We stock our own dog food both dry and wet, although if preferred you can bring your own. All kennels have their own beds and bedding.

CATTERY

The cattery offers a variety of different rooms depending on the amount of cats you have. There are single rooms, doubles and larger rooms for families with more than two cats, we also have a number of flat rooms for older cats who cannot cope with ladders.

HYDROTHERAPY

A great way to keep your dog fit, and lose some weight. Working and sporting dogs maintain optimum condition throughout the winter. Post surgery or injury rehabilitation under your vets direction.

DOGGY DAY CARE

Leave your pet with us for the day knowing they are safe and secure, as well as being exercised. Drop off and pick up are within our regular kennel hours of 09:00-4:30pm. Cost from £30 per day.

DOG GROOMING

Prices are dependent on dog breed, size and condition. Prices start from £45 run by professional, experienced groomer Nanette. Appointments to be booked in advance. With prior arrangement, dogs being boarded can be groomed on collection day.

SECURE FIELDS

Our newest addition to Oak Ride Farm is our secure freedom field available for you to book for only £10 per hour. This price is for a maximum of 4 dogs however you are welcome to bring along more which will be charged at an additional £2.50 per dog.
